Orient Beach State Park will host its annual Tree Lighting event that will feature Oysterponds School children singing holiday carols and an adult chorus who will also sing carols. There will be snacks and hot chocolate. Santa will arrive around 5pm to distribute toys to children and to light the tree. Free event. Requested to bring canned goods and/or coats to help those in need. The event will be held at the entrance to the park on the main road.
