Most recycled goods eventually end up in the trash for various reasons. Wouldn’t it be better to take those items and transform them into something that is permanent and more valuable? In this workshop, students will forage through the recycling you have at home to find items that they can convert into sculptures, which removes them from circulation. Upcycling is better for the environment than simply recycling items back into what became trash in the first place.
