Jay Rand will be our guide as we look for Roseate, Least, Royal and Common Terns. We hope to see Ruddy Turnstones, Piping Plovers, Prairie Warblers, Killdeer, Willets, Barn, Bank, and Tree Swallows.
Jay Rand has been a birder and naturalist for 26 years. He was a seasonal Park Ranger for 7 years where he led many bird walks and other wildlife programs. He has participated in numerous bird surveys and is currently doing an odonate survey at Skipper Horton Park in Greenport.
