Join us for an informative Native Plant Seed Sowing Workshop: Native Seed Sowing Success With Corn Schmid, Propagation Specialist. Saturday, December 13, 10 am-12 pm, the Vine Church, Southold. Join us with our friends, the Southold Peconic Civic Association, for a hands-on winter sowing workshop focused on native plant seeds! We’ll follow up on our 4 fall seed gathering and swapping events to explore seed stratification, sowing techniques, and native plant care techniques. Bring your own seeds, or use some from our shared collection. We’ll let you know what you need, if anything: trays, pots, soil mix, seeds, markers, and materials. Gardeners are very generous, we might get donations of everything that you need to plant your spring garden this winter! Let’s keep growing our community of native plants — one seed, one plant, one pot, one yard at a time. Register here, space is limited.
