The celebration takes place at the Mattituck-Laurel Library, located at 13900 Main Road, Mattituck. Registration is required to attend the event.
Drop in for light refreshments, games, giveaways, and on-the-spot typewriter poetry from 5–6 PM. Join our optional poetry circle at 6; share an original piece or simply a poem you love! The poetry circle will begin with brief readings from Poetry Street co-hosts Chip Williford, the Suffolk County Poet Laureate, and Maggie Bloomfield, an Emmy-winning lyricist from Sesame Street. This program is co-sponsored by Cutchogue New Suffolk Free Library and Southold Free Library.
