Mummichogs and Black-Fingered Mud Crabs are two of the many kinds of animals we plan to capture on this exciting visit to Orient Beach State Park. Join us for an exhilarating time as we wade with seines and dip nets in search of a great variety of fish, crabs, shrimp, mollusks, and other small creatures of the estuary.
We will closely observe each of the animals we catch, before gently releasing them back to their aquatic homes. Families are encouraged to come along for this fun and educational event. Participants are recommended to wear water shoes while wading.
Registration is required and space is limited to 12 people. Masks are mandatory. Social distancing guidelines will be adhered to.
