About
As part of Floyd Memorial Library’s current exhibition, Textile Tales: The Entwined Stories of Fiber Art (June 9 – August 6), the artist Larissa Killough has created a site-specific installation for the library’s garden.
The installation, called present, aims to amplify the garden as a space of solace and includes a cocoon – which people can enter – constructed within the branches of the library’s Japanese Maple tree.
This Saturday, July 1, Larissa will be in the garden from 2-4pm to answer any questions that people may have (rain day, Sunday at the same time).
