You’re invited to experience a
Revolutionary-era war encampment on Saturday, July 12, and Sunday, July 13,
2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The reenactors of the Third
New York Regiment will transform the Maple Lane Campus at 55200 Main Road into
a vibrant living history site. Explore authentic tents and gear used by
soldiers as they prepared to join General Washington and his forces. Enjoy hands-on
demonstrations including blacksmithing, spinning, basket weaving, printing
press, and carpentry.
Plus, don’t miss live music by
Eastern Long Island Old Time Jam.
The Museum buildings
will also be open for tours. Admission is free, and donations are warmly
welcomed
