Live Music/Silent Film dips into early animation at the Jamesport Meeting House this June. The ACME Quartet will remix the classic Disney cartoon Steamboat Willie, the film that introduced Mickey Mouse to the world in 1928. Live mixing techniques will generate entirely new films that we’ll call The Steamboat Willie Variations. Join us for an excursion into animation and early cinema. Extraordinary surprise animated films will also be on hand.
