Cap off your summer during the sweetest harvest on Long Island! Join us for Harbes Annual Watermelon Festival on Saturday, August 26 & Sunday, August 27, from 10 am-7 pm. There will be plenty of watermelon to snack on and lots of fun, too! Don’t miss our Watermelon Eating Contests! They will be held in the Barnyard Adventure at 2:30 pm & 4:30 pm on both Saturday & Sunday. First come, first served. Participation limited. Must purchase Barnyard admission to participate. There’ll be FREE LIVE MUSIC in our courtyard/picnic area both days from 1-5 pm. Saturday, the talented Nick Kerzner is scheduled to perform. Nick will be playing original music and covers from the ’60s to today in rock, alternative, and popular genres in an acoustic style. Sunday, singer/guitarist Matt Taylor will be performing. Enjoy this versatile musical performer. While you’re here you can visit Harbes Barnyard Adventure for hours of family fun! Harbes Barnyard Adventure is an 8-acre, family-friendly experience for all ages. The Barnyard admission includes a Musical Hayride tour of our 100-acre farm and our famous pig races. There are also farm animals, our very popular “Jumbo Jumpers” bounce pillows, a Sports Zone with baseball, football, and basketball tossing games, “Lil’ Farmers PlayLand” filled with lots of fun activities for preschoolers, a trike track, obstacle course, hedge maze, our musical animatronic chicken show, and much more. We’ll also be debuting some exciting new attractions for 2023! You won’t want to miss any of our delicious foods during your visit! You’ll particularly love our mouthwatering selection of homemade ice cream – including watermelon. There will also be delicious tomato/mozzarella paninis, Harbes own roasted corn, additional treats, and maybe some other watermelon surprises! NOTE: Barnyard Adventure requires admission. Kids 2 and under are free.
