About
Hallockville Museum Farm, a 28-acre preserved farm homestead on the North Fork, will host one of Long Island’s largest Fleece and Fiber Festivals on Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22.
The Hallockville Fleece and Fiber Festival will feature dozens of fiber artisans showcasing their talents, demonstrating their traditional crafts and selling their creations. Spinning, weaving, knitting, crocheting, quilting, basket-weaving and wood-carving are just some of the crafts that will be showcased at the festival. There will be sheep and llama shearing demonstrations daily; and fiber and farm animals to meet.
Docents will lead special fiber-oriented tours of the 18th-century Hallock Homestead. Home baked goods, food from Golden Jalapeno, and beverages will be available for purchase.
