Greenport’s Floyd Memorial Library and Cornell Marine Program are pleased to present From Macroalgae to Marine Mammals. Cornell Cooperative Extension is currently in the process of creating a Long Island Coastal and Marine Field Guide, for which their resident artist Carolyn Munaco has created over 250 paintings of local species. More than 50 of these enchanting zoological and botanical illustrations will be on display at Floyd Memorial Library from September 1 to October 10, 2022. All proceeds from artwork sales will go directly to CCE Marine Program.
There will be an Artist’s Reception with Carolyn and other Cornell Marine Program representatives on Friday, September 16, 2022, 6-8 pm, at Floyd Memorial Library. Remarks and Q & A will commence at 6.45 pm.
