renowned Brooklyn floral artist Joshua Werber for this exuberant workshop
utilizing beautiful seasonal foliage, flowers, and grasses collected from the
garden and greenhouses at Landcraft Garden Foundation. Participants will create
magnificent gravity-defying floral headpieces. Werber will demonstrate various
techniques for wiring a variety of plant materials, as well as how to condition
them for their optimal lifespan out of water. This workshop will focus on
encouraging everyone to think of plants and flowers in new ways—learning to see
them as the sum of their parts—and through playful experimentation, allowing
the materials to guide their own creations. After we finish our masterpieces,
we will don them for a “fashion show,” garden stroll, and afternoon tea in the
