The Moon: Our Nearest Celestial Neighbor with Steven Bellevia, Aerospace Engineer

The moon is Earth’s closest neighbor in space, causing tides, and illuminating the sky. When viewed through a telescope, the moon reveals a host of details and beauty. Join us for an evening of moon gazing along with a discussion of facts about our moon. Steven Bellavia is an aerospace engineer for Brookhaven National Laboratory. Steven’s astronomy articles and photographs have been published on Gizmodo, EarthSky, and Astronomy magazine.
