Like many beaches across Southold Town, Kenney’s Beach is a perfect relaxation spot.
The small public beach on the Long Island Sound is located at the end of Kenney’s Road and just a half-mile from McCabe’s Beach.
It’s the perfect spot for a full-out beach day or an evening stroll to catch the sunset.
We took a trip there this week after an afternoon rain shower passed through. The blue water sparkled in the sun and the sound of gentle waves coming up onto the shore was the perfect way to end the day. Spend a minute there with us now to start yours.
There’s one thing you can’t beat when driving around on the North Fork: the waterfront views. Narrow River Road is a testament to this. The long stretch of road (off of Main Road in Orient) brings a different beautiful site with every turn. (more…)
