Car lovers take note. A car show featuring about 150 collectible automobiles is taking place this Sunday, May 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Martha Clara Vineyards. It was originally scheduled for Saturday, but has been moved to Sunday due to impending weather.All proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, which provides programs and services to our severely injured service members during the time between active duty and their transition to civilian life. A perfect way to give back to veterans this Memorial Day weekend.

The show will feature a 1909 Alco “Black Beast” race car, which won the 1909 and 1910 Vanderbilt Cup Races and raced in the first Indy 500 Race in 1911. Spectator tickets cost $5 and children 12 years and younger are free when accompanied by an adult.

If you have a collectible car and want to show it off, for $15 ($20 the day of) you and a passenger can register to bring it out for everyone to enjoy.

There are over 20 prizes being raffles off valued between $20 and $50, ranging from wine, to restaurant offerings and other knick-knacks. There will also be a 50/50 raffle. Martha Clara will offer wine tasting and a food vendor will also be on site. The fourth annual event is presented by the Peconic Bay Region Antique Auto Club of America.
