Nothing sparks that holiday feeling more than a tree lighting. If you missed out on the Annual Candlelight Tour and Tree Lighting hosted by the Southold Historical Museum this past Friday don’t fret, here are five upcoming tree lighting events across the North Fork to get your fill of holiday cheer.

Mattituck Chamber Christmas Tree Lighting

On Friday, December 2 at 7 p.m. the Christmas tree in front of CVS in Mattituck will be lit for all to enjoy. There will be a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, caroling, cookies and hot chocolate, Christmas donkeys, and more.

Holiday Tree Lighting at The Shoppes at East Wind

The 6th Annual Tree Lighting will take place on Saturday, December 3rd from 4 – 8 p.m. While you’re there drop a letter in Santa’s mailbox, dance to music by a live DJ, ride Rudolph on the carousel, and more. Santa will arrive on a fire truck to light the tree and to pose for photos.

Lenz Barrel Tree Lighting

Lenz Wine is hosting its annual barrel tree lighting on Saturday, December 3 from 4 – 6 p.m. in their courtyard. In addition to great wine, and good cheer, enjoy live music by Points East. The event is free however reservations are suggested.

Parade of Lights and Tree Lighting in Greenport

On Saturday, December 3 at 5 p.m., head to the Village of Greenport for the annual Parade of Lights and tree lighting. The parade will kick off at 5 p.m. from the corner of Main and Center Streets and will continue through the village to Mitchell Park where the Christmas tree will be lit for the season. The event will conclude at 7 p.m.

Riverhead Town Square Tree Lighting

Downtown Riverhead will host its first-ever holiday tree lighting ceremony at the Town Square on Saturday, December 3. To kick off the event, Goat on a Boat Puppet Show will be performing at 3:30 p.m. There will then be live performances from the Riverhead Middle and High School choirs, East End Disabilities, and more at 4:15 p.m. followed by the tree lighting ceremony at 5 p.m. Hot cider will be provided courtesy of Riverhead Ciderhouse as well as candy canes and other giveaways.
