The weather is crisp and the leaves are starting to change — an ideal time for a fall stroll. One of our go-to spots is in Downtown Riverhead’s River Walk, a quaint park along the Peconic River.

As you take a stroll along the water’s edge, you’ll be greeted by fishermen, picnic-goers and families watching the river flow by. Towards the end of the River Walk is Milton Burns Park, where you can see outdoor art installations and statues from local artists at every turn.
