The last full month of summer is here and if you’re anything like us you’re committed to giving it your all. From churro tots to tall ships, this month has something for everyone.

HAVE A DAY FILLED WITH SWEET TREATS AND SUNFLOWER STROLLS

The delectable dessert truck that is For Goodness Cakes Co., is conveniently parked at one of the North Fork’s most coveted spots: Rottkamps Fox Hollow Farm, where you can stroll through a sunflower maze. How’s that for the sweetest day? Check @forgoodnesscakesco on Instagram for hours and offerings. Insider tip: don’t skip the churro tots, they are divine. The farm is located at 2287 Sound Ave. in Baiting Hollow.

LEARN HOW TO PAINT MELISSA HYATT’S ICONIC BLUE CRAB

In a two-hour workshop, local North Fork artist Melissa Hyatt will share her watercolor techniques and process with attendees as they learn how to paint her iconic blue claw crab. Complimentary Borghese Vineyard rosé will be served, and attendees will also learn about some of the efforts Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program has underway to improve the health of our local waterways through the Back to the Bays initiative. Tickets cost $75 each and a portion of ticket sales will benefit these efforts as well. The workshop will take place on Wednesday, August 3 from 5 – 7 p.m. at Borghese Vineyard in Cutchogue. STOMP GRAPES

Live like Lucy and stomp some grapes at RG|NY’s Stomp Party. This event, scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 7, at noon includes a picnic lunch catered by Lombardi’s Love Lane Market, two glasses of wine, live music and barrels full of grapes for stomping. TAKE IN BOOZY HISTORY

Feel like an insider by learning about Southold’s rum-running past. A new exhibit will be on display at the Horton Point Lighthouse Nautical Museum running through Sept. 18. The exhibit reveals some unexpected sites around town that were linked to the history of rum run­ning and stories by folks who recall the era. The museum, exhibit and tower will be open for tours on weekends from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. through mid-September. The nautical museum is located at 3575 Lighthouse Road, Southold.

TOUR A TALL SHIP

Tall Ship Kalmar Nyckel has landed in Greenport and it’s a sight to see. On Saturday, August 6 from 4 – 7 p.m. hop on board and take a deck tour exploring this full-scale replica of a 17th-century square-rigged ship. The ship will be docked at the East End Seaport Museum on 3rd Street in Greenport.

MEANDER AROUND MEADOWLARK

Meadowlark North Fork, a new concept winery destination by Macari Vineyards, is the newest place to explore and sip award-winning wine. Meander the lawn for views of 20 acres of polina­tor gardens then relax up in the wine bar focusing on experi­mental, limited wines and inno­vative winemaking techniques in an airy library setting. TAP INTO WELLNESS

On Saturday, August 13 from 2 – 5 p.m. join Sweet Woodland Farm in collaboration with others for a day of wellness at Charnews Farm in Southold. This wellness event will include a fermentation lecture and demonstration with Jamesport Sourdough, a kickboxing session with Mike of Weber’s Kickboxing and Fitness, and a flower essence exploration with herbalist April Alexander of Blooming Curiosity. There will also be vendors offering healthy foods and products during the event. The cost is $75 per person, and you can register here.

CELEBRATE EAST END ARTS 50TH WITH A SOIREE

To celebrate East End Art’s 50th year they are hosting a summer soiree on the grounds of their campus overlooking the Peconic River on Thursday, August 18 at 6 p.m. The event will feature a selection of East End wines, beer, cocktails, bites from local purveyors, and live entertainment courtesy of the music school. There will also be a silent auction and art for sale. You won’t want to miss this event. Tickets are extremely limited and cost $100 per person with additional sponsorship levels available. TAKE A BEER CRUISE

You’ve heard of a booze cruise, but how about a beer cruise? On Sunday, August 28 at 7 p.m. übergeek Brewing Co. is launching an intimate 2.5-hour beer cruise on the Peconic River leaving from the Atlantis Aquarium Dock. Tickets cost $55 per person and can be purchased here.

KAYAK UNDER THE MOONLIGHT

If you’re looking for a unique adventure, we’ve got a good one for you. On Friday, August 12 from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. watch the moon rise as you paddle down the Peconic River in a glow-light kayak letting the light of the moon guide you.
