A million tulips have burst into bloom at Waterdrinker Family Farm & Garden in Manorville.

The colorful rows are reminiscent of the vivid, expansive fields in the Netherlands and you’ll feel like you’re there with props like bicycles, a windmill and giant clogs dotted throughout the fields for photo ops.

According to farm manager Marc Weiss, the festival has doubled in size from last year’s 500,000 planted for the festival.

“We’re hoping they’ll be in bloom until Mother’s Day,” said Weiss, whose family has owned the property since 2018, noting that the flowers prefer cooler weather.

Walking through the breathtaking rows, you’ll see the blooms in pinks, reds, yellows and oranges as well as bi-colored petals and other spring flora like daffodils.

The family-friendly farm features activities for all ages, including a jump pads, playground and barnyard animals.

Adults will also want to visit the Long Island Farm Brewery located on the property, which released a Dutch pilsner, Tulip Fest, in honor of the fesitval.

While you can’t pick the flowers, you can buy precut bouquets to take a piece of the festival home with you.

Waterdrinker Family Farm & Garden is located at 663 Wading River Road in Manorville. The farm and tulip fields are open daily and admission is $15 per person Monday-Friday and $20 per person on Saturdays and Sundays. Children under 2 are free.
