One of my favorite stops to make along Main Road is Goodale Farms in Aquebogue.
Their stand is always stocked with the tastiest fresh cheeses, milk, yogurt and even pasture-raised meats.
I recently stopped by on a balmy late winter day and found some sure signs of spring all over the sprawling farm: baby animals.
Dozens of goats and lambs, just weeks old, are already frolicking around, butting heads and exploring their home.
Owner Hal Goodale is steadily introducing the kids to the outdoor visiting area, where you can say hello, pet and feed them. The farm is located at 250 Main Road in Aquebogue.
