The Discover Southold Scavenger Hunt, which debuted last year, is back next month.

On April 30 and May 1, folks of all ages can learn about Southold’s history while taking part in a scavenger hunt throughout the village.

“Southold Historical Museum has been brainstorming ways to involve a broader audience, including families,” said Southold Historical Museum executive director Deanna Witte-Walker. ”We want everyone to feel welcome and engaged with the Museum. The Discover Southold Scavenger Hunt is an ideal way to encourage this.”

Participants will download the GooseChase app, which acts as a guide with clues. The hunt will take participants around the hamlet (and outside it, as well).

The hunt will go live April 30 at 9 a.m. and close on May 1 at 5 p.m. There is a suggested donation of $25 for non-members and $20 for Southold Historical Museum members.

Visit the museum’s website to register or call 631-765-5500.
