The beach crowds have dispersed, leaving you in near solitude to enjoy the changing seasons—and changing shoreline.
Stormier seas make beachcombing a fun surprise as waves churn out treasures like driftwood, whelks and sea glass.
A walk along the beach is also the perfect way to soak up as much sun as possible, now that sunset is around 6 p.m. (Ugh)
The silver lining? Cooler temperatures make for a comfortable walk and it stays warm enough here to enjoy the outdoors through December and January.
