Riverhead kicks off Oktoberfest with fun event in Grangebel Park: Photos

For the first time Saturday, the Riverhead Business Improvement District hosted Oktoberfest at Grangebel Park, pairing the beer, food and live music event with the final Reflextions: Art in the Park of the season.

The Oktoberfest celebration featured beer from several downtown breweries, pretzels and brats, and a performance from the local band Who are those Guys. It also included a beer stein holding competition won by Anne Marie Ardito and Jim Egner.
