These early spring days on the North Fork seem to trade off between sunny and green, and gray and wet. Today was one of the ladder. Yet somehow Hallock State Park Preserve in Riverhead still was breathtaking. Thick morning fog covered the trails, sand and beach, giving off spooky October vibes, despite the season. The park is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. until the end of March when the hours change from dawn to dusk. Spend one minute with us there now.
