It’s no secret we’ve got amazing nosh on the North Fork. And when it comes to daily specials, there’s lots to choose from. We’ve compiled a full week of specials, from burgers to fish, bbq to pizza, so you can eat your way through the North Fork Monday to Sunday and get a delicious deal everyday.
Monday
Start off the week right with a burger of perfection. Every Monday is burger and beer night at Love Lane Kitchen in Mattituck. Choose one of their burgers (beef, lamb, turkey or black bean) and a draft beer for $15.
Tuesday
Celebrate Tuesday the way you should celebrate every Tuesday, with a whole lotta tacos. Golden Jalapeños in Calverton has a taco Tuesday $2 taco special, and they have new tacos all the time. Look out for their buffalo chicken or mac and cheese tacos.
Wednesday
If you’re in the mood for a hearty meal to get you through hump day, Andy’s in Greenport has a special just for that. Enjoy a cut of prime rib, potatoes, vegetables and finish it all off with Magic Fountain ice cream for $26.
Thursday
Go full Italian like it’s the weekend (because it almost is) on Thursdays with these two specials. Pizza is half-priced if you dine-in at aMano in Mattituck. Or get a garden salad, any chicken entree and a dessert for only $17.95 when you dine-in at Michelangelo’s in Mattituck.
Friday
Every Friday, Southold Fish Market rolls out a new array of specials for the weekend ahead. There’s always a soup, like vegetable crab or seafood, leek and mushroom and a couple mouthwatering main options like bang bang shrimp sliders, fried crab cake sammy or fluke tacos.
Saturday
Green Hill Kitchen in Greenport has specials throughout the week, but the weekend is when the party really gets started. They take the classic Cubano sandwich and serve it up bbq-style. It’s called the ‘Q-bano, served with smoked ham, pulled pork, Swiss cheese, pickles and a mustard barbeque sauce. It comes with a John Daly, a boozy beverage of half lemonade, half iced tea and half vodka. No, your math isn’t wrong — three halves do make a whole on Saturday.
Sunday
The best way to pretend like you don’t have to work on Monday is to treat Sunday night like a Saturday night. Every Sunday, the Preston House in Riverhead has a guest appreciation dinner. Get a prix fixe dinner for $29 for two courses or $35 for three courses with delicious selections of Risotto cacio e pepe, char-broiled NY strip with umami glaze and Long Island fluke crudo with crispy ginger. If you like it all enough to come back, they also have Ramen Night on Thursdays.
