A popular drive-in movie series that had been ongoing at Smithhaven Mall this summer and fall is moving closer to home.

Movie Lot Drive-In, which was launched during the COVID-19 pandemic by Long Island event company Starfish Junction Productions, has moved to Calverton for the screening of four movies at the Enterprise Park at Calverton this weekend, November 20-21.

The series kicks off Friday night with a double feature of “Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark” at 7:30 p.m. and “Jurassic Park” at 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 per carload for one film or $50 for the full double feature.

On Saturday night, they’ll screen “Elf” at 7:30 p.m. (also $30) and “Rocky Horror Picture Show” at 10:30 p.m. ($40). There are no double feature tickets available for Saturday.

The screenings will take place on the field outside Lido Stone Works at 300 Burman Boulevard. Gates open one hour before screen time.

The sound is played through your car stereo so moviegoers can remain in their vehicles to stay warm and socially distance.

Tickets to any of the four screenings can be purchased at movielotdrivein.com.
