Each week, we will be spotlighting a different farm stand on the North Fork as more open up. Reeve Farm in Riverhead is open Thursday through Monday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Name: Reeve Farm

History: Owner Richard Reeve’s parents opened the farm stand in 1968 as a way to sell directly to consumers after years of selling wholesale. When they wanted their weekends back, Reeve took over in 1970 and has run the place ever since, adding more speciality items like apple cider and donuts, in addition to the produce selection. This year, they celebrate their 50th year of the farm stand.

What they are offering: cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli, squash, pumpkins, corn, tomatoes and apples and apple cider donuts.
