Each week, we will be spotlighting a different farm stand on the North Fork as more open up. Wesnofske Farms is open everyday at 9 a.m., Tuesday through Thursday until 5 p.m., Friday until 6 p.m., Saturday until 6:30 p.m. and Sunday and Monday until 5:30 p.m.

Name: Wesnofske Farms

History: The Wesnofske family has been farming in Peconic since 1967 when Gene Wesnofske bought the land at 20 years old. He started with 10 acres and at its height had 300 acres. Now, over 50 years later, the same family still cultivates 50 acres, and their bright yellow and green farm stand off of Route 48 is a North Fork landmark.

What they offer: Watermelons, tomatoes, peppers, peaches, potatoes, cantaloupe, beans, flowers and more.

What they will offer: Cauliflower, broccoli, squash, yukon potatoes, russet potatoes and more.
