Each week, we’ll be spotlighting a different North Fork winery, showcasing their history and how you can support them at this time.

Lenz Winery is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for pickup and delivery. They also ship to most states through their website

Name: Lenz Winery

Year founded: 1978

Acres: 70

Varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir (for Sparkling Wine) and Malbec.

History: This 42 year old winery is located in a potato barn that dates back to the early 1900s.

Once a part of neighboring Krupski Farms, it was converted into a tasting room when Lenz, one of the region’s early wineries, was established.

How you can support them: Purchase their wine online or for pickup, follow their social media pages (Facebook, Instagram) and support their most recent endeavor: The Local Apron by Lenz.
