The star studded fourth annual North Fork TV Festival was a showcase of independent television pilots at the historic Greenport Theatre.

Highlights from the two-day event included the Canopy Award Presentation and Conversation honoring Kelsey Grammer.  The “Cheers” and “Frasier” star received the award, which honors a member of the New York television community, at a Friday night ceremony hosted by previous Canopy recipient Chris Noth, best known for his roles as NYPD Detective Mike Logan on “Law & Order” and Mr. Big on “Sex and the City.”

Constance Wu, star of the ABC sitcom “Fresh Off the Boat” and the hit film “Crazy Rich Asians,” was also honored for her commitment to and promotion of the arts and for her work to encourage young people to excel in the arts within the North Fork community. Greenport Mayor George Hubbard Jr. presented her with the Ambassador for the Arts Saturday.
