Nothing heralds fall on the North Fork quite like the return of pumpkins.

Now celebrating 30 years in business, Harbes Family Farm has a variety to choose from at its Sound Avenue stand in addition to apples, roasted corn and funky gourds. Across the street, you can pick your own pumpkins straight from the vine and walk through a corn maze.

This weekend — Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.— Harbes is hosting its annual Pumpkin Festival at the Mattituck farm. In addition to the regular fall bounty and farm activities, guests can enjoy live music, hayrides, pumpkin rolling competitions, potato sack races, and more.

Spend a minute with us there.
