The stars will be out in Greenport this fall as two of the small screen’s most recognizable figures will be honored at the North Fork TV Festival.

“Cheers” and “Frasier” star Kelsey Grammer will be the recipient of the annual festival’s Canopy Award, which honors a member of the New York television community. Also being recognized during the two-day event is Constance Wu, star of the ABC sitcom “Fresh Off the Boat” and the hit film “Crazy Rich Asians.”

Grammer will be awarded at a formal ceremony Oct. 4, which will also feature a conversation between the star and previous Canopy recipient Chris Noth, best known for his roles as NYPD Detective Mike Logan on “Law & Order” and Mr. Big on “Sex and the City.” An audience Q&A will follow.

“We are truly grateful for Kelsey Grammer’s exceptional contributions to the entertainment community,” festival founder Noah Doyle said in a press release. “We are beyond delighted to honor him and deeply appreciate his enthusiasm for convening our community around the future of independent scripted television.”

Wu, a Golden Globe nominee, has been named “Ambassador for the Arts” at this year’s festival. Greenport Mayor George Hubbard Jr. will present her with a commendation Oct. 5 “for her commitment to and promotion of the arts and for her work to encourage young people to excel in the arts within the North Fork community.” Last year, the title was given to “Blue Bloods” star Bridget Moynihan.

Tickets are now on sale for the fourth North Fork TV Festival, where the historic Greenport Theatre will be the backdrop for two days of pilot premieres, professional discussions and festival honors.

The festival curates a selection of independently produced pilots, bringing together buyers and sellers of scripted television. This year the festival is set to feature five television pilot selections.

An opening night party is set to take place at Claudio’s Waterfront on Oct. 4, and the festival will end with a closing night party at Green Hill Kitchen in Greenport after the screening of the last pilot.
