First Fridays on Love Lane in Mattituck returns for its fifth season this Friday, May 3, and runs through October.
The popular event, which is often likened to the ultimate neighborhood block party, features a merchant-lined, music-filled street and an evening of sipping, shopping and sampling.
Organized by the Mattituck Chamber of Commerce, the all-local lineup of vendors features a few new options this year, including Strong’s Marine, Vintage Mattituck Wine and Spirits and Braun Seafood.
We caught up this week with organizers Dave Perrin and Marco Da Fonte to talk about what makes First Fridays such a special event and what people can expect to see when they flock to their favorite event beginning this Friday from 6 to 9 p.m.
