Long Island Winterfest got underway Friday evening with a kickoff party at Indigo East End in Riverhead.
The event featured samplings from North Fork restaurants, vineyards, breweries and more. Live music also helped launch the annual event series, which aims to showcase East End culture in the winter months.
The series of events and area wineries and entertainment venues continues through March 24. Visit longislandwinterfest.com for a complete lineup of events.
