The dichotomy of fire and ice sets the stage for the 7th  annual HarborFrost celebration in Sag Harbor this Saturday, Feb. 23.

The family-friendly winter festival features a host of activities and entertainment throughout the afternoon and into the evening.

HarborFrost kicks off with the village’s annual Frosty Plunge, which benefits Sag Harbor Volunteer Ambulance, and culminates with a grand fireworks display over the harbor. During the festival, there will also be free face painting, live ice-carving demonstrations, fire juggling, a chance to meet Anna and Elsa from Frozen, and more.

Here is the event schedule for 2019:

Noon to 3 p.m.: Free glitter tattoos at The Wharf Shop

1 p.m.: Sign up for Frosty Plunge in The Windmill

1 to 4 p.m.: Hot chocolate station, photo booth, and more at the John Jermain Library located at 201 Main Street

2 p.m.: Frosty Plunge at Windmill Beach

2 p.m.: Ice carving begins along Main Street

2 p.m.: Live music at Corner Bar located at 1 Main Street

2:30 p.m.: Meet and greet Anna and Elsa from Frozen at Sag Harbor Variety located at 114 Main Street

2 p.m.: Free face painting at Stella and Ruby Jewelry located at 144 Main Street

2 to 5 p.m.: Kids activities at Dodds and Eder located at 11 Bridge Street

3 p.m.: Keith Leaf the fire juggler performs at The Windmill

4 p.m.: Live music at BuddhaBerry located at 125 Main Street

5:30 p.m.: Fiery Sensations fire dancers perform at Long Wharf

6:15 p.m.: Fireworks over the harbor
