It’s hard to go out anywhere on the North Fork these days without admiring the work of chalk artist Kara Hoblin. The founder of the North Fork Art Collective has designed signs and menu boards for many restaurants and wineries that are certain to capture your attention when you’re in their presence.
We asked her to create a North Fork fall scene for this episode and we’re excited to raffle it off to one lucky viewer of Northforker TV.
For just $10, you can purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win this piece of art, which Kara created at the collective for Northforker.
We’ve decided to donate the proceeds to Cornell Cooperative Extension’s SPAT program, which was created to encourage community members to become stewards of their environment and to restore shellfish to the bays.
We at northforker felt this was a worthy cause and we’re happy to partner with Kara and Cornell to raise money for the program. Tickets will also be available Dec. 1 and 2 at Shellabration, the organization’s big fundraiser. We’ll announce a winner soon after on Wednesday, Dec. 5.
