It’s long been disputed what’s truly man’s best friend: Dog or beer?

At Greenport Harbor Brewing Co. this weekend, men and women alike didn’t have to choose between the two.

For the second straight year, the brewery hosted a Dog Dock Diving Competition at its Peconic location. The event is a partnership with Harbor Pet in Greenport.

Dogs took turns jumping into a pool as onlookers cheered on with a pint of their favorite Greenport beer.

Blue Buffalo is the presenting sponsor and the event benefits the Guide Dog Foundation.
