Sianna “Cici” Renee of Crazy Beans in Greenport couldn’t be beat at the 7th annual North Fork Waiter Race on Saturday.
Dozens watched on as the 24 servers from North Fork restaurants raced through the streets of downtown Greenport balancing a filled glass on trays. The route began at Eastern Long Island Hospital’s Opportunity Shop on Main Street and loops around Claudio’s before ending at the Market on Front Street.
The Manorville waitress representing Crazy Beans took first place with James Mullane and Jade Torres, both of Claudio’s, placing second and third, respectively. This year’s even raised approximately $1,200 for Eastern Long Island Hospital Physical Therapy and Fitness programs, according to Linda Sweeney, ELIH Executive Director Foundation/Community Relations.
