The official start of spring is welcoming the return of more North Fork businesses for the season.
Here are a few more signs that spring has arrived on the North Fork with the planned opening of some of our favorite places.
A Lure Restaurant Chowder House & Oysteria is reopening Thursday, March 29. Southold’s premiere destination for waterfront dinning is back with its seafood-forward menu of clams on the half shell, chowder and lobster. The restaurant is hosting a three-course prix-fixe Easter brunch with a la carte menu items for $39.95 on Sunday, April 1.

Andrews Family Farm is returning for the season on Thursday, March 29. The Wading River farm stand will be stocked with fresh pansies, lilies, tulips, daffodils, hyacinth, hydrangea, local honey and eggs. For the holiday weekend, Andrews is open Thursday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Easter Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Garden of Eve is reopening on Friday, March 30. Shop the Riverhead farm and market’s vegetables, fruits, jams and pickles, organic groceries, grassfed meat and dairy, locally made products, flowers and more.

Brew Crew Cycles is resuming its tours on Saturday, April 7. The 14-person bike allows you and a few friends to drink and pedal your way to Riverhead’s breweries. There are a handful of tour options to choose from.

Sang Lee Farms will be open seven days per week starting Friday, April 20. The farm stand, which sells organic produce as well as prepared items like vegetable dips and soups, will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The stand is currently open on Fridays and Saturdays only from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
