Morgan Saint went from the hallways of Mattituck High School to Burbank, Calif.

The 23-year-old singer, who graduated from Mattituck in 2012, recently performed her song “Just Friends” on “Conan,” which aired Thursday.

Saint, whose real name is Morgan Gildersleeve, released her EP, 17 Hero, in October. Her first single, “You,” had already cracked 1.2 million streams before the EP was even released, Epic Records reported at the time.

“With each track penned by Saint, 17 Hero stirs majestic alternative and intimate indie into an artistic and anthemic pop pastiche,” Epic Records wrote. “The shimmering eighties synths and fingersnaps of “Just Friends” bristle as she coyly asks, “Why don’t we make out?”

Conan O’Brien appeared impressed after the performance.

“I love your voice,” he said while shaking her hand. “That’s fantastic.”

A Vogue profile on Saint said the music video for one of her songs, “Glass House,” was filmed in Mattituck and described her sound as “raspy, light and low.”

Saint’s music can be found on iTunes, Apple Music and Spotify.
