Halloween is around the corner and The Chequit on Shelter Island is getting into the holiday spirit with a weekend of spooky fun and special rates.
The hotel is offering a Halloween package the weekend of Oct. 27-29 that includes two tickets to a Masquerade Murder Mystery Dinner at the hotel’s popular restaurant, Red Maple.
Guests are required to wear costumes to the dinner, which aims to solve a mystery, in which one guest will be found to be the guilty party. Rates for the Halloween weekend package, which also includes free breakfast, start at $245. Tickets for non-guests to the mystery dinner, which is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, are $75. Reservations are required.
The Halloween fun starts at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27, with spooky trivia night at the Red Maple.
