Pop-up flower shop at Macari

Enjoy an afternoon of rosé tasting and flower making.

Floral designer Kim Jackson Reeves will host a pop-up flower market with custom-designed bouquets on Saturday, May 13 at Macari Vineyards. The event will run from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the Mattituck tasting room.
The winery will also offer complimentary tastes of their newly released 2016 rosé.

Mother’s Day soiree and shopping for breast cancer

The Times Vintage in Greenport is hosting an event to raise breast cancer awareness on Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7.

Detection In Time, a fashion brand that raises money and awareness for early detection of breast cancer, will be available for purchase. The brand was founded by Long Islander and breast cancer survivor Shawn Widmyer-Natale.

Proceeds will benefit breast cancer research.

There will be complimentary hors d’oeuvres and refreshments on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. The event runs from noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
