From a disco-themed window display to a charming downtown dotted with illuminated fresh trees and decked-out storefronts, these North Fork public spaces are looking pretty for the holidays. Take a ride from Orient to Mattituck to see some of our favorites.

The below isn’t intended to be a definitive list, so if we missed any good ones, let us know in the comments.

And if you want to view the North Fork’s best-decorated homes, check out the winners and honorable mentions in our third annual Times Review “Deck the Halls” contest.

The Orient Country Store got some disco-themed window dressing this season and has been renamed “Studio Fifty Fork.” We love the spinning snow people. Read more about it here.

Stop in for the food, take in the décor.

A bonus? Local photographer Estefany Molina will display her photos of Greenport’s Dance in the Park concert series at the restaurant through January.

OK, so this one isn’t “cute.” Instead, it’s dignified and gorgeous. “Silent Night” was playing when we stopped by on a recent Thursday evening.

Raphael has one of the North Fork’s most beautiful tasting rooms any time of year, but the Mediterranean-inspired building always looks exceptional during the holidays. The large tree in the foyer is a standout.

Live greens and lights make this Cutchogue boutique look pretty for the holidays. Phoebe and Belle is also a prime spot if you want to pick up a unique gift.

One of the North Fork’s newest holiday traditions pays homage to the area’s maritime heritage. The New Suffolk Water Front Fund is once again displaying a decorated sailboat near the water in the tiny hamlet.

The boat, an 8-foot American Sail Inc. vessel, is once again on loan from New Suffolk residents and brothers Paul and Ted Maffei.

Lit Christmas trees line line the sidewalks and the shops are decked out in holiday finery. Love Lane in Mattituck, arguably the North Fork’s most adorable main street, always looks impossibly cute this time of year.

Be sure to check out the two large reindeer standing guard outside Mattituck Florist.
