Hallockville Birdwalk
Take a walk around the preserved fields and woods at Hallockville Museum Farm on Saturday morning, November 19.
Join ornithologist Mary Laura Lamont on an easy-paced, two-mile walk to see late season migrating birds.
The walk will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. Admission is $7/$5 for members. Advance registration is required by calling (631) 298-5292 or online at hallockville.com.

Riverhead Farmers Market
The only indoor year-round farmers market on the North Fork re-opens this Saturday, November 19.
Shop the East End’s best, including fresh produce, dairy products, baked goods and much more.
The Riverhead Farmer’s Market will be open on Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Holiday Gift Showcase
Get a jump on your holiday shopping this Saturday, November 19 at Greenport’s Peconic Landing.
More than 30 local businesses will be on hand, selling their products and homemade gifts.
Shopping will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Peconic Landing Community Center, located at 1500 Brecknock Road in Greenport. For more information call (631) 477-3800.
Mushroom cooking Demonstration
Attend a mushroom cooking demo at The East End Mushroom Company on Saturday, November 19.
Acclaimed chef Noah Schwartz, of Noah’s in Greenport, will be cooking. Buy locally grown mushroom, enjoy complimentary samples and get a copy of a special mushroom stuffing recipe for Thanksgiving.
The cooking demo will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is free.

Wine & Chocolate Pairing
Enjoy the delicious combination of wine and chocolate on Sunday, November 20 at Laurel Lake Vineyards.
Try their wines,accompanied by chocolates from the North Fork Chocolate Company during the event.
The pairing will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Admission is $35/$30 for wine club members. Call (631) 298-1420 to make a reservation, because space is limited.
