Long Island Restaurant Week kicks off this weekend at dozens of restaurants across Nassau and Suffolk counties.

The $27.95 prix fixe deals run from Sunday, Oct. 30, to Sunday, Nov. 6 — except Saturday, when some restaurants only offer the deal until 7 p.m.

Don’t know where to dine this time? Here are four suggestions to try on the East End.

Cooperage Inn

Cooperage Inn is the type of place locals love to have in their backyard. The cozy decor and hearty food make it a great spot for fall.

Touch of Venice
28350 Main Road, Cutchogue (631) 298-5851

If you’re in the mood for some pasta and a rich plum tomato sauce, a visit to Cutchogue’s Touch of Venice is in order. Known for its wine list along with its food, the Main Road eatery has a loyal following — and for good reason.

Farm Country Kitchen

One of Long Island’s best hidden gems, Farm Country Kitchen is a favorite lunch spot for municipal employees, attorneys and court staffers working in Riverhead. But the West Main Street eatery is also an enticing dinner option.

Restaurant Week appetizers include a portobello mushroom stuffed with sun-dried tomato hummus and topped with spinach, artichokes, feta and cilantro pesto, according to an online menu. Entrée options include Cajun-seared salmon over baby arugula with strawberries, blackberries, crumbled goat cheese, almonds, carrots, cucumbers and cherry tomatoes.

Cowfish
43 Canoe Place Road, Hampton Bays (631) 594-3868

Dining at Cowfish entails lovely views of the Shinnecock Canal and chef David Hersh’s delicious New Orleans-inspired cuisine. Be sure to order a rum punch, one of the eatery’s signature drinks.

Restaurant Week dinner options include favorites like the ahi tuna and our personal favorite, NOLA shrimp.
