Fans of Hulu’s series “The Path” can expect to see Greenport as the backdrop in scenes of an upcoming episode.

“The Path,” which stars Aaron Paul, Hugh Dancy and Michelle Monaghan, will film in the village on Monday, Oct. 17 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., according to Greenport Village Trustee Mary Bess Phillips.

There will be no parking allowed on the east side of First Street from Adams Street to Front Street, as well as the north side of Front Street between First Street and Main Road from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday.

Additionally, there will be “brief, intermittent traffic diversions” on Carpenter Street from east Front Street and Main Road to Bay Avenue and Carpenter Street from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., a post on the village’s website reads.

The production crew is expected to park their vehicles on the west side of the Adams Street municipal lot near the IGA.

The Hulu series, which has been picked up for a second season, is “a classic family drama mixed with a psychological thriller set in the world of an emerging religious movement,” according to Variety.

Hugh Dancy stars as Cal Roberts, the leader of a religious group called the Meyerist Movement which believe in a higher purpose. Aaron Paul stars as Eddie, a member of the group who has begun to question his beliefs. Michelle Monaghan plays Eddie’s wife, Sarah, who remains a steadfast believer of the faith she grew up with, Variety reported.

The first season can currently be streamed on Hulu.
