Revolutionary War Encampment

Go back in time to the Revolutionary War at the Southold Historical Society on Saturday, October 8 and Sunday, October 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Experience 18th century camp life, including firearm demonstrations, military drills, authentic music and songs, cooking demonstrations and more.

Annual Riverhead Country Fair

Come to the fair on Sunday, October 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Enjoy vendors, carnival rides, entertainment, contests, agricultural/craft exhibits, food and refreshments. The event is rain or shine.

4th Annual Greenport Harbor Brewing Co. Oysterfest

Celebrate oysters at Greenport Harbor Brewing Company on Sunday, October 9 from 12 to 6 p.m.

Sample local oysters, Greenport Harbor brews, live music and even an oyster shucking contest.

End of Summer Fireworks Celebration

Say goodbye to summer with music and fireworks on Sunday, October 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Peconic Landing in Greenport.

Enjoy a live performance by the Atlantic Wind Symphony, featuring music by George Gershwin, John Philip Sousa, plus Broadway hits. The fireworks display kicks off at 7:15 p.m. (This event was rescheduled from Sept. 4.) Bring a blanket and/or chair. Rain date: Oct. 10.

10th Annual Harvest Party

Celebrate the 2016 wine harvest at Lieb Cellars in Cutchogue on Monday, October 10 from 1 to 4 p.m.

There will be live music, special harvest flights, featuring berry samples and finished wine with cheese samplings, plus an actual grape stomp.

This event is open to the public (no reservations needed, unless you are a group of six or more.)
