Paint Night at Laurel Lake Vineyards

Create art over a glass of vino at Laurel Lake Vineyards on Friday, Aug. 19 from 6 to 8 p.m.

No experience necessary and all art supplies and instructions are provided. Must be of legal drinking age. Food and drink may be purchased at the event.

Tickets are $45 and can be purchased at Laurel Lake Vineyards is located at 3165 Main Road.

Polish Town Street Fair & Polka Festival

Celebrate everything Polish in Riverhead this Saturday, Aug. 20 and Sunday, Aug. 21.

Enjoy Polish food, dancing, culture and fun. There will also be Polka dancing Saturday night from 5 to 11 p.m. The fair is free, admission to the dance festival is $13 for adults and $8 for children under 12.

The festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., within the vicinity of Pulaski Street and Osborn Avenue.

Mambo Loco Concert

Come hear live music performed on South Jamesport Beach Saturday, Aug. 20 at 6:30 p.m.

Mambo Loco blends classic Afro-Cuban and Puerto Rican music with “old school” Latin and Latin jazz.

Saturday’s concert is free. Details at South Jamesport Beach is at the end of Town Beach Drive.

Movie Night in the Park

Watch a free movie on Saturday night, Aug. 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Tasker Park in Peconic.

Saturday’s showing is “Despicable Me” and there will be free popcorn served. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and pajamas. The event is sponsored by Southold Town Youth Bureau.

Tasker Park is located on Peconic Lane in Peconic.

Killer B’s: American Song from Bernstein to the Beach Boys

Enjoy classic American music through the ages on Sunday, Aug. 21 at Poquatuck Hall in Orient.

Hosted by the New York Festival of Song, this program captures the hopes, joys, and struggles of 20th-century Americans, told entirely by composers whose names begin with B, like Irving Berlin, Leonard Bernstein, the Beach Boys and more.

Tickets are $25. Call Priscilla Bull at (631) 323-2720 to reserve tickets in advance. Tickets can also be purchased at the door (cash only). There will be a complimentary reception after the performance.
