Celebrate the bounty of the North and South Forks at the 7th Annual Dan’s Harvest East Endat McCall Vineyards and Ranch in Cutchogue on Saturday, Aug. 20 from 7:30 to 10 p.m.

Organized by Dan’s Papers and the Long Island Wine Council, this popular late summer wine and foodie event showcases the region’s wines, chefs and food purveyors.

The event will again be hosted by Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian of Food Network’s “Chopped”, “Top 5” and his latest show, “Cooks vs Cons.” Zakarian is also the author of several cookbooks, as well as chef/owner of four restaurants in the New York metropolitan area. In June he opened Georgie and the Garden Bar in Los Angeles, Calif.

Harvest East End showcases the wineries of the East End paired with the foods and dishes of the region’s top chefs and food purveyors. More than two dozen wineries will be pouring their wines, including Anthony Nappa Wines, Wölffer Estate Vineyard and many more.

Over 30 regional chefs, restaurants and food purveyors will be hand to serve bites of their signature dishes and foods. Participating restaurants include Caci North Fork, Jedediah Hawkins Inn, The North Fork Table and Inn, The Ram’s Head Inn, Scrimshaw, Touch of Venice and many more.

Among the many food purveyors participating are A Taste of the North Fork, Backyard Brine, Lombard’s Love Lane Market, and North Fork Chocolate Company.

A portion of proceeds from Harvest East End will benefit the Long Island Farm Bureau and HRH Care.

General admission tickets are $135, which includes food and beverages. VIP tickets are availble for $285 and include access to the VIP lounge, a VIP gift bag, premium parking and early admission at 6:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at danstasteofsummer.com.
